Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This website, tradeintel.eu ("the site"), is operated by its owner as a private individual established in the European Union ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is the operator of tradeintel.eu. Contact: hello@tradeintel.eu. We have not appointed a data protection officer because the size and nature of our processing do not require one.

2. What we collect and why

We do not collect special categories of data and do not use the site for automated decisions that produce legal effects.

3. Cookies

Strictly necessary storage: a single entry in your browser remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser; the banner will then appear again.

4. Who receives your data

Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Form submissions: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics, then aggregated. Server logs at Cloudflare: as set by Cloudflare's retention for the free plan, typically a few days.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to hello@tradeintel.eu; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
